For best results keep a copy of the puzzle before cutting it apart as the answer key (how the puzzle should look when complete); preferably print on cardstock; cut apart; optional laminate; store all pieces in Ziploc bags to be stored at math centers or passed out to individual students, partners, or groups.
Students should align sides of squares that have matching problem & answer. All small squares will join to create a larger square (as you see before you cut them apart).
