PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This activity includes John Adams’ Letter on Jefferson, one of the CCSS Grades 6-8 text exemplars, as the reading passage. The activity presents 16 different practice assessment questions closely aligned to some of the Reading Information Text (RI) and Language (L) standards for sixth grade. The passage is pretty complex for sixth graders, but working through these exercises with them will not only give them practice for the new assessments, but also give them confidence in their abilities. It will also help them begin to understand the increased rigor of the CCSS. There are a variety of question types including true/false, multiple choice, and short answer. Please download the preview for more details on this activity as well as some different ideas for how it can be used with your students. Thanks so much for considering and I hope you are enjoying a great school year!
