Teacher Forwards: This assessment was created based on Math Makes Sense Grade 6 (2006 Edition). However, the questions are more challenging than the ones that you see from Addison Wesley; that comes with the text. Make sure you go through the student assessment booklet to see the types of critical and higher-level thinking in your student’s expected answers; so that you can introduce the language that will be used in the grade 6 EQAO Assessments; therefore preparing your students for future success. You can also use this for the end of the year math review, supporting your students to be ready for the EQAO Assessments. I will use these questions over the summer so that I can prepare my students for a summer advancement program.
