This activity is based on the second strand of the Grade 6 Ontario Social Studies Curriculum (People and Environments: Canada's Interactions with the Global Community).
- Students are provided with the definitions of import and export.
- Students must complete 8 true or false questions relating to importing and exporting based on their prior knowledge.
- Students must complete a scavenger hunt where they record the names of the products they find around the classroom; identifying if the items is an import or export using the manufacturer's label.
