PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This unit is based on the Ontario Ministry of Education Curriculum but can easily be adapted to meet expectations in other Canadian or American school districts. The following lesson is designed to provide educators with the resources they need to teach Grade 2 and 3 students the Visual Arts, Drama, and Literacy skills listed below:

Students will:
•Read, discuss and interpret a children’s literature Picture Book as the inspiration for the creative process
•Explore how colour and facial expressions (lines) can reflect and represent different emotions through visual art, drama, and literacy
