Graffiti Name Design Computer Graphics Lesson for 5th to 12th Grades
Graffiti Name Design allows students to create their name in a graffiti style using letters that are shapes. They will also include a symbol that represents something important to them. This a great beginning of the year lesson since, it not only helps the teacher learn the students’ names, you start to learn about your students likes and dislikes. Of course, this project could be easily done on an iPad. I use Word since not every art teacher has access to iPads, and it teaches the drawing portion of this powerful program.
Included in the lesson:
Graffiti Name Design Project for 5th to 12th grade
PowerPoint “ Pattern”
Handout “Pattern It’”
Handout “Principles of Art”
