Target subjective pronouns, third person singular verbs, past tense verbs, future tense verbs, and present progressive verbs with this fun
and interactive, low-prep activity!
To prepare: Decide on the grammar book(s) that you would like to use. Print out one set for each student. Cut apart the book on the dotted lines. Then, stack the pages in numerical order to create a book. Staple the book together down the side or at the corner.
To use: I would suggest taking a “picture walk” through the book first to familiarize students with the pictures. Then, read through the grammar book(s) and have the child insert the appropriate word in order to complete each sentence. Students can say the word aloud and/or write the word in the blank space to complete the sentence.
