Description

I created this Grammar Cheat Sheet sheet a few years ago to help students through the writing, revision and editing process. It's a quick reference guide that provides students with detailed explanation and examples of punctuation, parts of speech, and words that are commonly confused or mis-used. This Cheat Sheet can be used for middle schoolers and high schoolers, across content areas but is, of course, especially helpful in ELA.

Teachers can introduce it as a reference guide, or in the case of groups of students who need in-depth writing support, make a series of lessons out of it! Please note that it is a 2-page document and is best used if it's printed double-sided. I would recommend having it laminated, if possible, so that your students can use is as a resource that lasts for the duration of the school year.
