Students will be given a set of 4 pig cutouts with a C, P, G, & S on each one along with 5 sentence strips. Students should match each pig with the error found on each strip. C = capitalization error, P = punctuation error, G = grammar error, and S = spelling error.
Each page has a different pig that will be used twice.
Students should be able to identify the CPGS error, articulate why it is wrong, and explain how to fix it. (R, U, AP, AN)
Can be completed in pairs or groups, stations, or whole class.
Includes: Directions, CPGS pig cutouts and 10 different sets of sentences. Answer Key not included. Each sentence has one mistake and should spark discussions on what is wrong and how to fix.
