Use this grammar escape room with your students to quickly review punctuation, subject-verb agreement, parts of speech and MLA in-text citations. This freebie includes four sample task cards to show examples from four of my Escape Rooms
Your download includes
* 4 task cards (one each for punctuation, agreement, MLA citations and parts of speech)
* teacher & student instructions for Google and non-Google facilitation
* answer key for codes and secret phrase if teacher-led
* teacher tips page
* one Google form
⚠️ Please note that on the MLA card, there are four questions and four answer spots for those questions, but one of the answers is a two-digit number. Your code will be five numbers, because one of the four numbered answers is two digits. Please refer to your answer key.
In the Google-led facilitation (a quicker version), students input answers from their task cards into a Google Form and are automatically told if their code is correct for each card and awarded three letters toward the secret phrase.
In the teacher-led facilitation (a lengthier version), teachers will check answers for students and award letters toward the secret phrase.
My full escape rooms take between 45-60 minutes. This short sample should take about 10-15 minutes maximum from the time you start giving instructions until the first team finishes.
