I have made Power Points to go with almost all of my lessons in Grammar. I have included a lesson number to show the order in which I teach each topic.
This Power Point reviews Identifying Subjects and Predicates. It includes 27 slides in all. It begins with reviewing information on Subjects and Predicates and then has 24 practice sentences.
In the practice sentences, the student is required to circle the subject and underline the predicate. I use my Promethean board ActivInspire program to do this. If you do not have a Promethean board, you could use your chalk board to do this. You could also just do this orally.
After going over introductory slides, I will draw class name sticks for each student to have practice on the skill.
