I have made Power Points to go with almost all of my lessons in Grammar. I have included a lesson number to show the order in which I teach each topic.
This Power Point teaches Punctuating a Friendly Letter. It includes 8 slides in all. It begins with introducing information on using Capitals and Commas in the Greeting and Closing of a Friendly Letter. Then it has 6 practice mini letters. At the bottom of each slide is a number to tell you how many mistakes need to be corrected. You could correct these orally, using ActivInspire on your Promethean board (this is what I use), or even on your chalkboard.
After going over introductory slides, I will draw class name sticks for each student to have practice on the skill by correcting one mistake.
I would appreciate only positive feedback being that it is a FREEBIE...Thanks!
