This scene card comes with three activities.
First, students use the card to generate a list of nouns, verbs and adjectives. They then use some of these words to write three sentences inspired from the card.
Next, the student use the card to answer some How Many? questions. They solve some story problems about the card as well as explain their thinking/reasoning. Before finishing the page, they are asked to write mathematically about the card.
Last, the students are given a writing paper to write a fictional story about the card. If it's helpful, they can use their noun, verb and adjective page to help guide their thoughts and to help them add descriptive details to their writing.
