I created these "Parts of Speech Snapshot" posters to be just that, a snapshot of information about that particular part of speech. Each poster contains a spot for students to write a definition of the part of speech and give examples. The two blank Polaroid picture frames at the bottom should be used to have the students draw a picture that illustrates the a sentence with the particular part off speech being used. Have the students underline or highlight the particular word or words that represent the given parts of speech in their written sentences.
This unit includes:
*Teacher Notes and Ideas
* 3 Cover Page Choices (If you choose to have your students use the posters/pages to create a book).
* 9 Snapshot Poster Pages ( One titled for each part of speech including: Adjectives, Adverbs, Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Conjunctions, Articles, and Interjections).
*These pages have been set up in a way that you can use them all together and have the students create a “Parts of Speech Snapshot” book.
*You can also use the pages individually. Just print the ones you need.
*These little posters are great assessments, teaching tools, and center activities.
