Ten one-page sports stories address the most common errors in spelling, homophones, subject--verb agreement, apostrophe, capitalization, punctuation, comparative adjectives, irregular verbs, and irregular plurals.
An additional two Teacher Worksheets provide error analysis which will interpret either individual or class strengths and weaknesses to help focus instruction and/or group students. Pair two students together, and give teams points for each correct answer. Total points over several days or weeks on a wall chart, and award small prizes or grade points when a certain level is reached. Students love the competition, and the pairs like helping each other find the errors.
