GrammarSongs is the winner of the 2015 'Cox Business Get Started Gainesville' Startup Competition and the 'Spirit of Gainesville' Winner for Education 2016!
I'm so glad you are here! I'm Melissa Corbett, founder and creator of Grammarsongs. My Growing Bundle is now on sale! GrammarSongs is unlike any other educational product on the market. I developed GrammarSongs in my classroom to cover the standards in a unique way, using original music, to keep my students engaged. When I saw the enjoyment and success my own students were experiencing, I put my songs into a video format to share with other teachers, students, and parents.
GrammarSongs now integrates ELA subjects through music and activities for grades 1-5.
(See below for a list of the concepts addressed.) GrammarSongs currently includes over 40 musical videos and 250+ activities at differentiated levels of instruction. In addition, I am taking off next year to work in the studio to create additional videos and new grammar activities. You will receive all of these new supplementary resources at no added cost. You'll also be supporting my mission to bring music and movement into the classroom.
Buying GrammarSongs today helps YOU cover the standards with musical videos and printable activities designed to differentiate instruction and reach multiple learning styles by fusing the power of music and song with video. I've come to realize that my website, which organizes these concepts at your fingertips, is a highly valuable tool for helping teachers streamline their instructional planning. SO, WITH YOUR PURCHASE TODAY, ALONG WITH THE DIGITAL DOWNLOADS, YOU WILL RECEIVE ACCESS TO MY GRAMMARSONGS WEBSITE AT NO ADDITIONAL COST!! (***PLEASE EMAIL email@example.com AFTER YOUR PURCHASE FOR EXCLUSIVE ACCESS TO MY WEBSITE W/ FREE UPDATES!***) The website is organized both by grade level and by topic so that songs may be revisited at different grade levels with differentiated printable activities to go with them. The songs are catchy and get stuck in long-term memory, so often students can retrieve the song (and information from it) many months after the song has been sung.
Most excitedly, my students enjoy pointing out idioms, prefixes, apostrophes, "juicy" adjectives, and other language arts components whenever we are reading and writing in class. One of the best things about GrammarSongs is the fact that the information learned carries over into real world reading and writing in a way that empowers students and makes sense to them.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please do not forget to email me after your purchase for exclusive access to my website (please allow up to 24 hours). Thank you!
"I cannot say enough wonderful things about Grammar Songs! My daughter was a student of Ms.Corbetts in 5th grade, and learned so many wonderful songs. When she moved on to middle school she took those songs with her. Her Reading and English teachers were amazed at the questions she could answer because of Grammar Songs. Whenever a new topic came up her teachers would look at her and say "Emily, what's the Grammar Song for this one?" They became so popular that in 7th grade her teachers would call on her, knowing that she probably had a Grammar Song to go with the current topic. She has told me about students that were struggling until she taught them Grammar Songs, and then suddenly they realized it was easier than they thought! She is now headed to 8th grade and I am sure the Grammar Songs will be brought out again to teach a new class just how simple it can be with the right tune to sing along!
M.A, Doctorate of Education:
"I've worked at the university as an educator, and now supervising teachers, for the past 45 years. The way she integrates these subjects with music is one of the most effective learning tools in education today. The way her music is integrated into one cohesive plan is genius. Perhaps one day she'll be able to expand her teaching style beyond the classroom walls."
