Alien Text Talk Grammar Interactive Notebook: Full Year Edition is a fun new take on daily oral language exercises for middle and high school students. Instead of just proofreading and correcting punctuation, grammar, and spelling of boring sentences the student will be translating the sentence from "text talk" into a sentence using the proper writing conventions.

This Common Core Standard aligned activity is broken into 36 weeks (use for the full year). Each week there are 8 text talk sentences that the student will need to translate and write using proper writing conventions.

This is a great activity to reinforce grammar, spelling, punctuation, and capitalization skills in a communication style that students use frequently. It helps students see the vast difference in "text talk" and be able to apply the proper writing conventions at appropriate times.

This download includes:

• 36 weeks of activities in your choice of format:

  • Google Drive™ format
  • Interactive Notebook foldable activities
  • Printable

• Answer keys

• Common Core Standards alignment for Grades 6-12. This is included at the end of the unit so if you do not need it you can easily discard without changing the unit itself. To see how this is set up please see the free preview for the CCSS checklist in its entirety.
