This product includes 30 different tic-tac-toe boards with a variety of grammar skills as the focus, directions for set up, and a blank choice board. This is meant to be done in partners.
Grammar games are a great way for students to practice newly taught skills or even to review previously taught skills. The great thing about this purchase is that you can basically teach the students how to play one time, and they can use any board from then on as long as the grammar skill has been taught.
The way it works:
Each square on the boards has instructions for using a grammar skill. The students have to use it correctly on their recording sheet before they can mark the square. Their partner has to check it, and this forces them to have some great conversations.
