This French grammar worksheet is a great way for students to practice conjugating reflexive verbs in the present and past tense.
Part one focuses on conjugating reflexive verbs in the present tense. Students will fill in the blanks with the correct present tense form of the given reflexive verbs, including the reflexive pronoun. They will then choose four of the sentences to translate into English to demonstrate their understanding. Finally, they will translate present tense English sentences into French using their knowledge of reflexive verbs and pronouns.
Part two focuses on conjugating reflexive verbs in the passé composé tense. The activities and sentences are almost exactly the same as in part one except that they are in the past tense. Students will also have to recognize when they must make the past participle agree with the subject.
Note: For users of the Bon Voyage level 1 textbook, this corresponds very well with Chapter 12 Structure. It also works well with any lesson on reflexive or pronominal verbs. In fact, it is a Word document that can easily be edited and adapted to any French textbook or curriculum.
