This is a fun, easy, and fast activity great for utilizing 100% of your instructional time in a focused and productive way.
Each day, students view real-world examples of grammar and or spelling mistakes as depicted on street signs, billboards, or product labels. Students study the example and try to decipher what's not quite right with each sign.
I like to let students guess on their own, discuss with a partner or group, then volunteer their answers in whole-group before class dismissal.
