On Grandparents Day have your students interview their grandparents to compare what school was like when they went to school. This booklet is set up with a series of questions related to school. Afterwards, have grandparents share with the group. It's great for the kids to hear what school was like then. Include a picture of grandparent and child that day to make this booklet a great keepsake for the students.
Tie this activity in with Social Studies and discuss how we learn from our past through first hand experiences;information handed down by word of mouth.
Two booklets are included, lines for intermediate and primary handwriting.
