Product Description
“What’s My Line?”, based on the “mix-freeze-pair” cooperative learning strategy, was designed to practice graphing lines from equations in slope-intercept form, standard form or from a mix of slope-intercept and standard from. The graphed lines in this activity will have both positive and negative slopes, as well as, horizontal and vertical lines for no slope and undefined slope.

A second activity is included where students practice writing the equation of a line between two points and equations of parallel and perpendicular lines.

Alternately, “What’s My Line?” can also be used as a math center activity. Math Center directions are included for a math center setup as well.

There are a total of 24 card pairs for the Graphing Lines for each of the three levels (48 total cards for each level) and 18 card pairs (36 total cards) for the Writing Equations of Lines Through Two Points activity, so there are plenty of cards to choose from for a given class.
