Graph Transformations: Activity, Worksheet & Assessment Bundle
This pack includes:
1. Quadratic Transformations
Students need to match the equations to their corresponding graphs, thinking about how each one has been transformed from the original quadratic.
2. Transform It!
The graph of y = f(x) is shown in a series of diagrams. Students must then draw on the indicated transformation.
3. What Happened?
Two functions undergo a series of transformations. However, some of the information is missing. Students must work out the missing transformations, equations and graphs to complete the loop.
4. Minimum and Maximum Points
Two worksheets where students have to work out
(a) The minimum and maximum points of a graph after various transformations of it
(b) The equation of a curve given its new maximum and minimum points
A one page assessment to see how well students have understood these graph transformations.
6. Function Transformations
A set of functions have been transformed and students must work out the missing pieces of information. In some cases they must work out the original equation, or the transformation that occurred, or the resulting equation afterwards. You can also purchase this separately here.
