Graphic Activities for The Crucible: Character Analysis and Storyboard
Product Description
This PowerPoint works as either an in-class assignment or homework assignment after reading Act One of The Crucible. Students must create a storyboard recounting events and dialogue. Included are three student examples. Also included is a review assignment where students create a graphic organizer of at least eight characters in the play by finding dialogue, descriptions and explaining relationships while making character inferences. Photos of excellent student examples are incorporated. Graphic organizer assignment can last two days in class and always works like a charm for the teacher to explain the difference between direct and indirect characterization.
