Product Description
This unit will introduce students to the concept of drawing in Adobe Illustrator using a photo as a base. The unit will introduce/reinforce tools such as the pencil, pen, gradient, opacity, and layers.

**If you’re students have not used Illustrator, I recommend downloading my FREE Pen Tool Practice lesson and starting there first - the pen tool isn’t necessary to complete this lesson but it’s helpful.***

Included in the Zipped folder are:
*1 Lesson: Description, National Visual Arts Standards Alignment (see below for covered standards), Unit Objectives, Resources, Materials, Vocabulary, and Student Day-by-Day Experience.
*1 Scoring Rubric out of 100 points
*1 Powerpoint introducing the project
*1 Video Demonstration
*7 Student example images
