A teacher and study copy of a graphic organizer which details the major doctrines and leaders of the Protestant Reformation (Martin Luther, John Calvin, Henry VIII, Elizabeth I). The graphic organizer includes spaces for students to fill out the name of the new Protestant church, the leader, where the religion started and its major tenets. Also included is a sheet of pictures of the major leaders of the Protestant Reformation. Students can cut out these pictures and glue them on their graphic organizer as a way to put a face to the name. I have found providing pictures such as these helps students to better process and retain the information.
