A teacher and student copy of a graphic organizer designed to help students understand the main ideas of humanist philosophers of the Renaissance. Included are Erasmus, Petrarch and Dante. For each humanist, students fill in information about their most influential work and read an excerpt from that work. Students will then (with a teacher's guidance) analyze the excerpt and determine how it represents humanist idea of the Renaissance. The last column of the graphic organizer is where students can record their thoughts and analysis.
