Using Tier 2/academic vocabulary, this group of PDF graphic organizers on the short stories "One Thousand Dollars" by O. Henry, "The Censors" by Luisa Valenzuela, "The Problem" by Anton Chekhov, "There Will Come Soft Rains" by Ray Bradbury, "The Masque of Red Death" by Edgar Allan Poe, "How Much Land Does a Man Need?" by Leo Tolstoy, and "A Visit to Grandmothers" by William Melvin Kelley is perfect for any high school classroom. These frame-style worksheets would be great for comprehension checks, assessments, or reviews. While the included worksheets were created for 10th grade (Pearson textbook), they could easily be used in 9th-12th grade classrooms as well.
