2 versions of the same template: 1 guides students to determine and the author’s purpose and 1 is an annotation tool to help them analyze the author’s craft
2 illustration-required organizers:1 requires students to draw and lift text to deepen understanding and 1 requires students to create an illustrated flip-up cover sheet that will reveal written content
2 organizers to give students practice crafting satisfying endings that offer their readers a life lesson or a simple takeaway
