This is a graphic organizer for the commutative, associative and distributive properties. It has 4 columns: definition, example, clue and tricky example. I let my students fill this out on their own using their own words and examples to help them remember the differences between the properties. Definition is what the property is, example is a basic example, clue is a way to help remember that property and tricky example is an example that the students usually get wrong.
