Description
If you enjoyed my Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Winter Graphic Organizers, here is the by request February version version! This pack has many different options for any books you read during February but especially books about Groundhog's Day, President's Day, and Valentine's Day.
My students LOVE to read seasonal books! I use their love of season books to motivate them to complete graphic organizers for the seasonal books they read independently. However the options for using this product are endless! Use these organizers for ANY book during the winter season and enjoy the seasonal flair, use with your class with winter books you read together, in reading response journals, the options are endless!
The graphic organizers included review the following skills:
Sequencing
Story Elements: Characters, Setting, Problem and Solution
Problem and Solution (includes recording space for steps character took to solve the problem)
Character Traits (Includes options for boy and girl characters)
Asking Questions
Character Cause and Effect: How a character responds to events in a story
