This graphic organizer is useful for helping students graph absolute value functions by first finding the vertex and making an xy table of points on both sides of the vertex. This graphic organizer helps scaffold the method of graphing for the students. Once the students have practiced enough, they might not need the organizer. It is useful for all students, but especially students with special needs or "at risk" students. There are four graphic organizers per page so the student may use one page for four different absolute value functions.
