    Roll and Graph

This set is perfect to teach beginning bar graphing skills. There are 12 mats and 12 cubes - one for each month of the year. Children can work individually or in pairs. Roll and Graph is also a fun addition to a math center.

To prepare the materials, laminate the boards or place in a heavy duty page protector. Children can use erasable markers to record their answers. They can also use bingo chips, coins or anything else you have available. If you are not using washable markers, you can put sticky notes on the bottom to record their answers. I have also used number cards for children with limited fine motor ability.

As an alternative to the assembled cubes, simply cut on the dotted lines and you will have a set of 6 cards which can be taped or attached with Velcro to a large square foam block.

*Please note Bar Graphs and Picture Graphs are also included in First Grade Math. If you have purchased First Grade Math, you may want to purchase Bar Graphs separately.
