Product Description
This packet includes a wide variety of graphing skills from reading bar graphs, line plots and pictographs to analyzing data and organizing it to make sense of it.

Median, mode and range are great tools for students to use to analyze data to determine what is typical for any set of data. All these skills take practice!

Included in this bundle are a variety of graphing PDF worksheets appropriate for grades 3-5

• Sheet 1 (2 sheets copied back to back) provides students with data that they use to build a line plot. Then students answer questions based on the data including median, mode and range.

• Sheet 2 (2 sheets copied back to back) asks students to create a bar graph based on a data table. Students write questions and statements about the data.

• Sheet 3 (2 sheets copied back to back) asks students to create a pictograph based on given data. Students then analyze the data to answer questions.

• Sheet 4 (single sheet) asks students to practice finding the median for a given set of data.

• Sheet 5 (single sheet) asks students to practice finding the range for a given set of data.

• Sheet 6 (single sheet) is a great practice for median, mode and range. I used this as an entry task.

• Sheets 7-9 provide students with a variety of line plots to analyze using median, mode and range.

• Sheet 10 (2 sheets copied back to back) includes four different median story problems with data tables.

Answer key included for every sheet!

I have also included the common core standards for grades 3 through 6.
