Product Description
An important foundational math skill that students often struggle with is graphing. To help your learners become more confident and strengthen their graph knowledge, the should be working with graphs on a regular basis. Use these fun thematic graphs to introduce, practice, or assess your students' graphing skills.

Check out the preview above to get a closer look at the activities included with this graphing resource.

The January graphing pack comes with four sets of graphing activities in five different seasonal themes. In this resources your students will be graphing with ice skating, snowball fights, snow day, hot chocolate and Martin Luther King, Jr.!

Each theme includes the following resources:
Count, Tally, and Graph
This graphing activity includes a printable mat with 25 images for your students to count, tally, and graph on their recording sheet. There are two levels of recording sheets available for this activity. The first version includes questions with picture answers. The second version asks students to write their answers.

Spin, Tally, and Graph
For the spin and graph activity, students will spin the thematic spinner 16 times and tally each spin. The students will then use that data to create a circle graph on their recording sheet. They will also answer a few questions.

Roll and Graph
This graphing activity asks students to roll a printable die 20 times. The students will create a simple bar graph as the roll the die to record their data.

Count, Color and Graph
The count, color, and graph activity is a simple worksheet for the students to gather and represent their data all in one place.

To increase the durability and longevity of this resource, I suggest printing the counting mats, spinners, and dice on cardstock and laminating.

You also receive four options to make weekly class graphs. These graphs will always include two options, so your students should be able to quickly make a decision. There is a quick half page recording sheet for these graphs as well.
