October and HALLOWEEN math activity.
This resource includes five mystery pictures created by plotting coordinate pairs in all four quadrants. All graphs involve positive and negative integers.
Your students will be challenged to plot carefully in order to create the “math art.”
The five pictures include
GraphA - Candy Corn (30+ coordinate pairs)
GraphB - Acorn (45+ coordinate pairs)
GraphC - Dalmatian and Fire Hydrant (100+ coordinate pairs)
GraphD - Dracula (60+ coordinate pairs, one decimal)
GraphE - Christopher Columbus (90+ coordinate pairs, some decimals)
Samples of completed graphs are included.
Note: Color and detail has been added to the sample pictures.
Check out the preview for samples of completed projects (color has been added by students).
