This short graphing activity focuses on graphing simple polynomial equations, partly using technology. Students will identify important terms, describe end behavior, sketch graphs, find key parts of a polynomial graph, predict graphs, and use a graphing calculator.
This was created for use in a Math for College Readiness class for senior students. It is also suitable for Algebra courses. The common core standard it most directly relates to is CCSS.Math.Content.HSA.APR.B.3\
Identify zeros of polynomials when suitable factorizations are available, and use the zeros to construct a rough graph of the function defined by the polynomial.
