Plotting Coordinate Points - Summer / End of Year
For the end of the school year or for summer programs ..... this resource includes five mystery pictures created by plotting coordinate pairs in all four quadrants. All graphs involve positive and negative integers.
Your students will be challenged to plot carefully in order to create the “math art.” They can even add color and details to their work of art, if desired!
The five pictures include
GraphA - Canoe and Paddle (25+ coordinate pairs)
GraphB - Beach Scene (umbrella and sandcrab) (80+ coordinate pairs)
GraphC - Sun with Shades (60+ coordinate pairs)
GraphD - Dragonfly (50+ coordinate pairs)
GraphE - Sandcastle (75+ coordinate pairs)
Samples of completed graphs are also included.
Note: Color and detail have been added to the sample pictures.
