Graphing Circles Stained Glass Window Activity is designed to help students practice identifying the center and radius of circle equations and then graphing the corresponding circles using a compass.
Equations are in standard form, and no center or radius results in a decimal or radical.
Students color in the finished design with markers. If hung in a window, the colors shine through making for a fun classroom decoration.
I use this in my Integrated Geometry class during a 45 minute class period.
Blank student copy, instructions, rubric, and completed teacher copy are included.
