This is a min-project I designed that puts a twist on the traditional "graph a picture" assignment.
For this activity, students will create their own simple drawing on a coordinate axis (think stick person, house, star, etc). They will draw it, label 20 coordinate pairs that lie on on the drawing's lines, make a list of their coordinate pairs, and switch with a partner to see if the partner can reproduce the drawing from the list.
This is a great way for them to practice their labeling as well as graphing skills as they work the pictures both ways!
A rubric for grading, graph paper for both drawings, and a list blank are all included!
