This engaging activity puts a fun spin on creating scaled picture graphs, scaled bar graphs, and line plots!

1. Students begin by gathering class data.
- For the pictograph, students gather data about their birthdays.
- For the vertical bar graph, students gather data about their favorite subjects.
- For the horizontal bar graph, students gather data about books.
- For the line plot, students gather data about the number of siblings everyone has.

2. Students use the class data to create the three graphs and one line plot outlined above.

3. Students mount their graphs and line plot on construction paper.
