This lab is a great introduction to collecting data and graphing. Great for grades 6-8. This dot lab is fun for students, interactive, and creates an opportunity for you to explain good and bad data.
This lab includes a PowerPoint if you wish to go paperless and project it. There is also an example.
This lab can be done in 2 class sessions with conclusions done at a different time or the whole thing can be accomplished in a block period or 1.45 hours.
