This is a graphing assignment where the students have to first calculate the unknown volume of a gas at different pressures and constant temperature using Boyles equation. Then they graph their results with a fictionalized set of data from a student. They do a similar exercise using Charles's Law. The goal is for the student to discover the graphical relationship of both Boyle's and Charles's Law. Also, it gives them additional experience with the equations. I have used this for a number of years and it really increases a greater understanding of the laws and the algebra involved.
