I love using gallery walks as a way to get students out of their seats and moving! All you have to do is hang the stations along the wall in your classroom. In a gallery walk, students walk to each of the 10 stations and write down notes as they go. In this gallery walk, students will make inferences about the connections between an inequality statement and its graph on the number line. They will first make observations on their own and then have a discussion with classmates. This can be used as an introduction to graphing inequalities.
You will receive:
2) A note-catcher for students to fill out as they make observations of the inequality graphs
3) Stations of inequality graphs
