This lesson is meant to be used as guided notes for a whole class.
Students begin by learning when lines must be dashed and when they must be solid. They slowly graph 2 inequalities and learn how to know when and where to shade. They then graph a few by themselves now that they have learned the general strategy. Finally, they learn how to graph basic inequalities such as x<5 or y>-6. Though these inequalities are less complicated, they usually confuse students more since they cannot easily recognize a slope or which region to shade.
