In this game, each student (or partner group) gets a Bingo card. The students write the answers randomly on their Bingo card. There are 24 clues and 24 answers. I stress to the students that their card should be different from everyone elses and that is why they need to put the answers on their card in mixed-up order.
The students might need scrap paper to determine some of the answers.
The teacher has the clues/answers in a box or basket and he or she mixes them up and calls out one at a time. The students can "win" by getting 5 in a row either diagonally, vertically or horizontally. Any rules are up to the teacher's discretion.
For prizes, I have given extra credit (like a free homework pass) or a mechanical pencil. Prizes are up to the teacher as well. Just winning for The Glory of winning is good!
The game may be played multiple times in one period. Most students have fun playing Bingo!
