Students graph linear inequalities and use their answers to solve the riddle, "What did zero say to eight?"
Student directions: "Graph each inequality. The shaded solution region will cover one letter and one number. Write that letter in the numbered box to answer the riddle."
All linear inequalities are given in slope-intercept (y = mx + b) form, with no vertical or horizontal lines. (I use this worksheet primarily with my lower-level Algebra 1 classes.)
