About this resource:
This document contains a walk around activity that reinforces the concepts of graphing & properties of linear inequalities.
8 graphs of linear inequalities are given, along with a recording sheet. Hang each of the 8 graphs around the room. Students must fill in all of the appropriate information for each inequality, then find a graph around the room that matches. Please see the preview to see if this activity meets the rigor of your class!
Recording sheets have:
-linear inequality given (some are in slope-intercept form, others in standard form)
-space for writing letter of matching linear graph
-solid or dotted line?
-shade above or below line? * one graph is an x= inequality, therefore above/below doesn't work...left/right does. There is an asterisk in this box on the recording sheet!
-Is (0,-1) a solution?
