Domain and Range Function Scavenger Hunt is an activity to have kids solve for y from the standard form, then graph by pulling out their m and b. Basically, they are solving the problems then searching around the room or hall for the answer. Just a different way to do a worksheet! Allows for instant assessment on if they are completing the work correctly.
This is intended after putting in slope-intercept form as well as graphing from slope-intercept form instruction. 10 questions in all. I also added 2 extra cards with wrong answers. They are the last 2 in the file and are letters that are not included anywhere in the answer so we may easily identify if a mistake was made on them.
Students will solve a problem (or more) then look for the answer on the paper hanging up. They then write the letter or word down next to that number. At the end, they will spell the answer to the joke. Prepare yourself for uproarious laughter (not really) : )
Best part, kids can do all the work in the class then just look for their answers so they are not all in the hallway the whole time.
File includes the student worksheet, the answer key, and the printables to hang around the room/hall. The printables need to be cut in half and mixed up when hung up.
