In my algebra classes, I tend to hammer the idea of "y = mx + b" into my students heads so much, they forget that not all graphs are linear!
This lesson is designed to help them see some nonlinear functions as well: it includes a few linear functions, but it also includes an exponential, two quadratics, and a hyperbola.
I have the students create an x-y table, and they then plot those values.
I also include spiral review of key algebra topics.
This worksheet is intended for students to show their work on a separate sheet of paper.
Please download the pdf preview file first, so you can see exactly what's included; the product file is a word document, which you may personalize for your students.
